Parade of Homes

The 2011 Parade of Homes in Horseshoe Bay, just outside of Austin, begins October 14th. This is a scattered site Parade of Homes, where homes all along the Highland Lakes in various stages of construction can be viewed. The Jenkins home, a finished and furnished Parade Home, is located in The Trails of Horseshoe Bay where two other homes can be viewed. Tickets can be purchased at the door of the Jenkins Parade Home (see map below). Official dates and times for the BIA Parade of Homes are as follows:

October 14, 15, 16 10am – 6pm
October 21, 22, 23 10am – 6pm

Tickets are $10 for both weekends!

The BIA Horseshoe Bay Parade of Homes awards are in. The Jenkins home in Horseshoe Bay (The Trails) won:

Best Kitchen/Living
Best Master Bedroom / Bath
Best Craftsmanship
Most Unique

The last BIA Parade entered, the Jenkins home won every single People’s Choice award on the ballot! Although the BIA judging is complete, the real judges (to us) are the general public. The Jenkins Parade Home is located at:
